Not everyone needs the flagship. The Pixfra Chiron is the honest value line — a genuine vanadium-oxide thermal riflescope, in a metal IP67 body, built by one of the few brands that makes its own thermal sensors. It is not the ≤15 mK Pegasus 2 LRF and it does not pretend to be; it is the smart, well-priced way into thermal for the shooter who wants real capability without the flagship price.
Across the range you get a ≤25–30 mK detector, a 1440 × 1080 OLED, six colour palettes, recoil-activated recording and the Pixfra Outdoor app over Wi-Fi. The decision that's left is sensor and lens — 384 or 640, 25 / 35 / 50 mm — and whether you want a built-in 1,000 m laser rangefinder. Three of the four models have one as standard.

Thermal that earns its keep.
Pixfra is one of the few brands in the world that designs and manufactures its own thermal sensor cores — the same in-house engineering behind the flagship Pegasus. The Chiron puts that pedigree into a keenly-priced package: a vanadium-oxide detector, a 1440 × 1080 OLED and a clean, readable picture out to real hunting distances, in a metal body sealed to IP67 and rated to 1,000 g of recoil.
Ranging where it counts.
At night, distance is the thing your eyes get most wrong. On the three LRF models — the C425-LRF, C635-LRF and C650-LRF — a built-in 1,000 m laser measures it for you in a press, with the number shown right in the sight. The entry C435 keeps the price lowest by measuring distance with on-screen video analysis instead of a laser. Choose the one that fits how you hunt and what you want to spend.

Specifications are supplied by the manufacturer and may be revised without notice; where datasheet revisions differ, the current Chiron LRF datasheet is used for the LRF models. Dimensions and net weight are quoted for the core optic with the battery excluded — the laser-rangefinder module adds to the length and weight on the LRF models. Detection distance refers to a large heat source under favourable conditions and is a sensor benchmark for comparison, not a shooting distance. The C435 measures distance by on-screen video analysis rather than a laser rangefinder.
Chiron or Pegasus 2 LRF?
We won't pretend the Chiron is the flagship — it's the value line, and the honest way to help you spend well is to show you exactly what stepping up buys. Both are genuine Pixfra thermal scopes with real ranging; the Pegasus 2 LRF adds a finer ≤15 mK sensor, a higher-resolution display and a dual-battery system. If the extra sensitivity earns its place for how you hunt, buy the Pegasus. If you want real, ranging thermal for hundreds less, the Chiron is the pick. Same brand, same local warranty, either way.
